Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS VALID ONLY IN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, AND IS OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS (AS DEFINED IN THE RULES BELOW). VOID ELSEWHERE AND WHEREVER PROHIBITED. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THESE SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU DO NOT FALL WITHIN THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BELOW. 

Sweepstakes Name: Brigit Credit Builder 2024 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”)

Sponsor: Bridge IT Inc. (“Sponsor”) 36 West 20th Street, New York, NY 10011

Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 am ET on December 1, 2024 and ends 11:59 pm ET on February 11, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”) comprising the Entry Period and Drawing Periods (each as defined below). Sponsor’s computer clock will be the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes.

Entry Period: The period beginning from 12:00 am ET on December 1, 2024 until 11:59 pm ET on December 31, 2024 constitutes the entry period (the “Entry Period”).

Drawing Period: The period beginning from 12:00 am ET on January 1, 2025 until 11:59 pm ET on February 11, 2025 constitutes the drawing period (the “Drawing Period”).

Eligibility Requirements: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, or the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older or the age of majority in their state of residence and who satisfy the following eligibility requirements (each, an “Eligible Participant”):

• Eligible Participants must have Internet access in order to enter the Sweepstakes. 
• Each Eligible Participant must be the rightful owner (or have authorized use) of the e-mail address identified in the Eligible Participant’s entry. 

The following classes of persons are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes:

• Employees, officers and directors of Bridge IT Inc., and its respective franchisees, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively “Released Parties”), and the members of the immediate families or households of any of the above.  “Immediate family members” includes, for purposes of this Sweepstakes, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grandchildren (including step grand-children) and each of their respective spouses.

How to Enter - Two Entry Methods: Below are two separate entry methods for Eligible Participants to enter into the Sweepstakes (each, an “Entrant”) and receive an entry (an “Entry”) for a chance to win a prize of $5000.00 (a “Prize”).  The maximum number of total entries per Eligible Participant is one (1) during the entire Entry Period, regardless of entry method:

1. Automatic Entry with Qualifying Actions: To qualify for a single Entry, during the Entry Period, an Eligible Participant must complete all of the following actions:
   1. The Entrant must have downloaded the Brigit app
   2. The Entrant must connect an external qualifying bank account connected to the Brigit app. A qualifying external bank account means that the external bank account is in the Entrant’s own name, is active, and has been opened for at least 60 days.
   3. The Entrant must subscribe to the Brigit Premium or Plus membership and open a Brigit Credit Builder account during the Entry Period and keep it opened for 30 days after opening a Credit Builder account
   4. The Entrant must successfully make their first subscription payment on-time after opening a Credit Builder account
2. Alternative Means of Entry (“AMOE”) Method: To qualify for a single Entry, during the Entry Period, an Eligible Participant must complete all of the following steps
   1. Visit the online AMOE form available here
   2. Fully complete the registration page with all required information, including name, complete address (including city, state, and zip code), valid email address, birth date, and phone number (including area code)
   3. Click the “Submit button to submit their AMOE Entry during the Entry Period

Drawing and Prize: The Sponsor will select one (1) Entrant to win the Prize of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) (the “Winner”) in a random drawing on February 11, 2025, the last calendar day of the Drawing Period. 

Odds of winning will depend on the number of all the Entries received during the Entry Period. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize awarded during the Sweepstakes Period in the aggregate is $5,000.00. All expenses, taxes, and costs associated with acceptance and use of the Prize not set forth in these rules are the obligation of the Winner. The value associated with the Prize is taxable as income and the Winner is solely responsible for any taxes, including, but not limited to all applicable federal, state and local taxes that become due with respect to the value of the Prize. The Prize is not transferable, or assigned and no substitutions or cash redemptions; except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. 

The Winner will be notified by the Sponsor on February 11, 2025 via email. If the Sponsor is unable to contact the Winner after reasonable effort, or if the Winner fails to respond within three (3) days of the first attempted notification of that individual, the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner. The Winner is only eligible to receive one (1) Prize under this Sweepstakes. Once the Winner has accepted and received the Prize, or the Winner has not claimed the Prize three (3) days after the Sweepstakes Period passes, such individual is no longer eligible to receive the Prize and an alternate Winner will be awarded the Prize at issue from amongst the remaining Entrants through a random drawing.

By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

Prize Conditions: To be eligible to receive the Prize, all Entrants must have an external bank account connected to the Brigit app. By participating in this Sweepstakes, the Winner authorizes Brigit to deposit the Prize into their external bank account connected to Brigit. The Winner will receive their Prize credited to their connected external bank account within seven (7) calendar days of claiming the Prize, subject to any relays or other circumstances which may delay the deposit of the Prize. In the event that the Winner does not have a connected external bank account to Brigit, the Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be awarded the Prize at issue from amongst the remaining Entrants through a random drawing.

By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees to release Sponsor and the Released Parties, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind by entering the Sweepstakes or for damages of any kind caused by the Prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Prize awarded.  All local, state and federal taxes are solely the responsibility of the Winner.  An IRS form 1099 will be issued if required by law. No more than the stated number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded.

Entry Guidelines: Each Entrant may only enter into the Sweepstakes once during the Entry Period.  Each Entrant must enter into the Sweepstakes on their own behalf.  Any Entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s account information will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize.  No mechanically reproduced or automated Entries are permitted.  Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification, and all such Entries will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute as to a specific Entry, the authorized account holder will be deemed to be the Entrant and they must be eligible according to these Official Rules. 

Sponsor or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Sweepstakes are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or otherwise damaged entries, or for entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules, or for any Entry not submitted or received, or otherwise lost, due to any technical error or failure, human or programming error, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or misentry of any required information, or the failure to capture any such information or effects of hackers or failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/or network connections, all of which will be disqualified.  Sponsor and the other Released Parties are not responsible for any failure on the part of the Entrant to complete a successful qualifying transaction.

Publicity: By accepting the Prize, the Winner understands and grants to the Sponsor the right, except where prohibited by law, to user his/her name, photograph and written or oral statements for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing Sponsor and their respective products or services, without compensation unless required by law. The Winner may revoke this right and opt out of any such further use by by emailing Sponsor at info@hellobrigit.com, except that such opt out shall not apply to any uses that were already publicly disseminated (including on Brigit’s websites or the Brigit’s mobile app) prior to the Winner’s exercise of this opt out right.

Use of Data: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about Entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy. Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy at www.hellobrigit.com/privacy By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy.

Additional Rules & Restrictions:  This Sweepstakes is conducted in English. By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules, and the decisions of the Sponsor shall be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  If an Entrant wins a Prize, and is later to be found to be in violation of these Official Rules, they will be required to forfeit the Prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the Prize if the violation is discovered after the Winner has used the Prize.  False, fraudulent, or deceptive entries or acts shall render Entrants ineligible for any Prize. 

By submitting an Entry, the Entrant agrees that Sponsor and its agents are authorized to contact the Entrant via email, via social media, by physical mail, telephone, or any other form of communication to make the Entrant aware of information pertinent to the Sweepstakes. By submitting an Entry, the Entrant also agrees to receive marketing materials or information regarding Sponsor’s featured product(s), service(s), special events or promotional offers, or purchase incentives through email or physical mail from Sponsor or its agents.  Entrants may opt out of further email communication at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located in the footer of promotional emails from Sponsor. 

IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, ITS PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, PRIZE PROVIDERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF A PRIZE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IN SUCH STATES LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. By participating, Entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, social media sites, suppliers, prize provider and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property AS WELL AS CLAIMS/ACTIONS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY that may arise from participating in this Sweepstakes or its related activities or the acceptance, possession, use or of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use of misuse of the Prize. The Winner acknowledges that the Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the prize. Sponsor may disqualify an Entrant’s Entry if they are deemed to have violated these Official Rules. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes or who are in violation of these Official Rules as solely determined by the Sponsor will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Use of script, macro or automated entry software or programs or any other means that subvert the entry process is prohibited and all such Entries will be void. In the event this Sweepstakes is compromised by virus, bugs, worms, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes, or if this Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof and/or terminate the participation of any Entrant (and void his/her Entry/ies) whose conduct potentially compromises this Sweepstakes and at its sole discretion, if terminated, to award the Prize from among all eligible non-suspect Entries received prior to the act requiring such termination. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

Disputes: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree that (A) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages other than for actual out of pocket expenses, if any; and (B) you acknowledge that, unless you have opted out, the disputes agreement to which you are already a party extends to these Official Rules, and the definition of a “Claim” includes all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any compensation or credit to be provided.

No Liability: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants and Winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Entities, and the Released Parties from and against any claims made by any Entrant, Winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.
