What is a Bank Holiday?
A bank holiday is a day on which banks are officially closed and observed as a public holiday. Since banks don’t process transactions on these days, Brigit Instant Cash advances cannot be repaid or delivered on bank holidays.
Instant Cash Advance Due Dates
- If you would normally pay your advance to Brigit on a day that happens to fall on a bank holiday, we will process the advance payment the business day before.
- You may review your due date in the Brigit app under the Advances tab. The due date listed in the Brigit App is the day the payment will be processed and has already taken the bank holiday into consideration.
- If you need to make any changes, you may use an extension credit or contact us for support.
Instant Cash Advance Delivery
- Bank holidays operate similarly to weekends.
- Brigit funds requested before 10:00 AM EST the business day before the bank holiday will arrive the same day by 11:59 PM.
- Brigit funds requested after 10:00 AM EST the business day before the bank holiday will arrive on the following business day after the bank holiday by 11:59 PM.
