How is Credit Builder different from Instant Cash?

Instant Cash and Credit Builder are different programs with different goals.

If you need money quickly, Instant Cash helps qualifying Brigit subscribers avoid resorting to overdrafts or payday loans. We advance you money, up to your limit for everyday and unexpected expenses and you pay Brigit back automatically at your next payday. Instant Cash is not reported to credit agencies.

Credit Builder does not give you access to funds. Instead the Credit Builder Account is designed to help you to build credit by setting aside savings each month. Each month you save your selected amount, we report payment activity on the Credit Builder installment loan we open on your behalf. This builds payment history, which makes up 35% of your credit score.

Both programs require a Brigit subscription.
